TODD TRUE

Todd is a graphic designer to be reckoned with, having significant experience creating and revitalizing brands with international acclaim. During his time with Landor at both the San Francisco and Hong Kong offices, Todd created and helped implement brand identity programs for Canadian Airlines, John Deere and BP.

He joined Interbrand in 2000, designing and leading teams in creating brand identity and packaging systems for clients such as Symantec, NASA, Epson, Visa, Wachovia, MSR, and TRESemmé. In his seven years with the San Francisco office, he achieved the role of Executive Creative Director, defining and managing the creative staff and process from strategy and research through design and production.

In 2006, Todd was recruited to go client-side at Johnson & Johnson. He was a founding partner in the creation of its Global Strategic Design Office based in New York City—building the Design function and integrating Design into the Science-based culture of J&J around the world. He led internal and external cross-functional teams in the creation and management of brand identity and consumer experiences. Most notably, revitalizing the J&J corporate brand and global packaging redesigns for Johnson’s Baby and Tylenol.

Todd serves on the Advertising Art/Graphic Design Advisory Committee at Pennsylvania College of Technology where he is also an Adjunct Professor.

CHRISTINA GEIST

 

Christina is a creative storyteller and the first to raise her hand in any brainstorm. She has 25 years of experience creating, nurturing and bringing brand ideas to life across marketing disciplines. 

Christina’s career began as a television producer and news writer in Nashville, where she graduated from Vanderbilt University. After hopping the fence to PR, she developed communication strategies for clients like Timberland and Monster.com for Boston-based agencies Cone, Inc and Arnold Worldwide. As a consumer marketer for Atlanta-based IN ZONE Brands, she had a hand in all aspects of a start-up beverage business. Interbrand brought her home to New York, where she led package design strategy and implementation programs for clients like AT&T, ConAgra, Bayer Aspirin, International Paper and TRESemmé.  From 2007-2010, Christina was the first Strategy Director recruited by Johnson & Johnson’s Global Strategic Design Office, managing global packaging design initiatives and cross-disciplinary workshops and innovation sessions for beauty, baby and OTC brands. 

Since launching True Geist in 2015, Christina has also published three children’s books with Random House, including Sorry Grown-Ups, You Can’t Go To School!, which debuted at #4 on The New York Timesbestseller list. She is also the Founder of Boombox Gifts, a bespoke memory box company she grew for 8 years until it was acquired by Tribute.co in 2023.

Christina lives in New York with her husband, Willie, and their two very tall kids, Lucie and George.
